How to add a standard event to a tracking plan?

What are the standard events?

The standard events are considered those that are usually part of the offered Jellyfish's products. For example, for an e-commerce client that has purchased the “E-commerce Tracking” product, the event “add_to_cart” is a standard event. because we as the analytics capabilities will implement it no matter what and it is not considered to be custom.

How to add the standard events?

After the creation of the tracking plan we will get into this screen:

By clicking on the blue button that says “+ create an event”, a new window will appear.

In this window we will be able to see the common tracking modules that we are selling to our clients and some others as well.

For example, we can see the “E-commerce Tracking” option and choose it and click “+ Add”:

By clicking the “+ Add” button, we are now able to see all of the events that are part of this module available in this tracking plan. As you can see, the “add_to_cart” event is already available because it is considered to be a standard event.
